Nothing out of  the ordinary showed up in the propagation of these two sets of  leaves

gives off some fantastic plantlets. I couldn't believe the variety! I will be prepared in the future. Never will I ever let a hybrid go without having a proven true plantlet from it. In this case I still had the original so I was able to enjoy the "tricks" Bob Serbin likes to pull. This is one of the "tricks" and I think it is beautiful. I have called it Bob Serbin Sport.

Appears to be leading a double life.  She is a fantasy and the heat got to her.  I thought at first my husband was playing a trick on me but she really has two different colored blooms.  She did settle down for her second blooming and did what she was supposed to do.

This poor leaf went through the mill and it is a wonder it is doing anything at all! It had just begun peeking out of the soil, the next time I checked I found it had been knocked over and was laying there bare roots and all. I think it was caught on a shirtsleeve and went unnoticed. It had just begun looking good again but was on one of the trays that suffered a good bout of white powdery mildew and it was just covered with it! I hope it is as strong a plant as it was a baby. I have never seen a baby grow like this! That is a baby growing on the leaf just on the top of  the stem and another at the base. One of the vein's were broken and that is where it started from.

When all else fails and there is no way you can fake a stem try wedges!  They work and here is the proof!  Just make sure you have a "vein" in your  wedge. Press it into your rooting medium just hard enough to cover the bottom cut and wait! It doesn't take any longer than a regular leaf cutting.

Here is a seed pod.  It often happens that a pistel gets caught between the 2 anthers and when the blossom opens entirely the pistil with the sticky end gets pulled through and tears the anthers where the powdery pollen is stored.   I call this a self cross.
