Potting Lady Baltimore and her family  continued
after stripping her of her excess baggage we can now start potting things up

Now take a look at what you have done. You have 2 new babies, and 2 leaves to set,  and Lady Baltimore in the background is the proud parent.
three.gif (34386 bytes) Looking closer now,  I know these three leaves were a part of the sucker I removed. There is no harm done, I wouldn't have left them on the sucker as it would have been too much for the little one trying to move in without roots. Peel them off and discard or "start" them as well.

Lady Baltimore needs to be in a bigger pot. Turn over, support the plant between your fingers as above so it won't fall to the floor when you give it a gentle rap on the bottom I try to use the handle part of my scissors most of the time to avoid sore and bleeding knuckles.

wick.gif (37465 bytes) Pull your wick off the bottom. You will be using a new one anyway.

Set her down in the pot and fill around sides and top of the root ball.

Now here she is all set up and looking very much at home in her new pot.
